Obverse: Persian legend in centre, Emperor’s name and Mint name (From bottom to top: Mubarak Indore / Sikkah / Shah Alam = Auspicious coin of Shah Alam, Indore), within open wheat wreath tied with ribbon below.
Reverse: Radiant Sun face in centre with Nagari legend around, Ruler’s name and title (Maharaj Shivaji Rao Holkar).
