The King Chandra Gupta with a halo around the head is seen dressed in kushana stlye of clothing, He holds a bow in the left hand & arrow in the right hand. The King name ?Chandra? is written on the obverse under the kings left arm in brahmi script. ?Deva Sri ( Maharajadhiraja sri ) chandra gupta? legend is starting at 2?O Clock going upto 9?O clock is partly visible on this specimen. The Reverse of the coin shows the Goddess Laxmi with a halo around the head is sitting cross-legged on seven petal lotus flower with both her hands above her knees, holding lotus in one hand and a noose in the other, Tamgha in the left field at 10?O Clock of the Goddess & Biruda ( small imperial title used by each gupta king ) ?Sri Vikramah? legeng in brahmi. starting at 2?O clock upto 4?O clock.
