Issue in the name of the Mughal Emperor Shah Alam II (AH 1174-1221 / AD 1759-1806) and Shivaji Rao II Holkar.
Mint: Indore, Silver Edge: plain. KM 44.
Obverse:
Persian legend in centre, Emperor’s name and Mint name (From bottom to top: Mubarak Indore / Sikkah / Shah Alam = Auspicious coin of Shah Alam, Indore), within open wheat wreath tied with ribbon below.
Reverse:
Radiant Sun face in centre with Nagari legend around, Ruler’s name and title (Maharaj Shivaji Rao Holkar). Samvat date at bottom. “SAVE HERITAGE SAVE COINS”
