Obv : Crowned head of King George V with the inscription “GEORGIVS V REX ET IND: IMP:”
Rev : The Imperial Crown surrounded by an ornate border with “METROPOLITAN POLICE” at the top and “CORONATION 1911” at the bottom.
Commemorated the Coronation of King George V (June 22, 1911) and rewarded, in particular, the heavy duties performed by the police.
Ribbon: Red with a narrow central blue stripe, and similar blue stripes near each edge.
